No previous competitive experience? That's perfectly okay! Many of our dancers begin their competitive journey after recreational classes.
We welcome dancers from other studios as well as recreational dancers who are ready for something more.

Does my child need previous competitive dance experience?

No! We welcome both experienced dancers and those who are new to competitive dance. Placements are based on your child's age, experience, technical ability, and readiness. Our goal is to place every dancer where they will feel confident, challenged, and successful.

Can my child compete in only one style?

Yes! We offer flexible competitive options, including part-time programs where dancers can focus on one or two styles. During your assessment, we'll recommend the program that best suits your dancer and your family's schedule.

How many competitions do dancers attend?

Most of our competitive dancers attend 2–4 regional competitions each season. Competitions are typically held on weekends during April and May.

Can my child still participate in other sports or activities?

Absolutely! Many of our dancers balance dance with school sports, theatre, music, and other extracurricular activities. We offer flexible competitive pathways and will work with you to find a program that fits your family's commitments.

What ages can join the competitive team?

We welcome dancers ages 4 and up. Whether your child is just starting their competitive journey or has years of experience, we'd love to meet them through a complimentary assessment.

What if we're switching from another dance studio?

You're more than welcome! We regularly welcome dancers from other studios and strive to make the transition as smooth as possible. Our focus is on finding the right placement and helping every dancer feel welcome from day one.

How much does competitive dance cost?

Tuition varies depending on your dancer's age, team placement, and number of classes. Additional expenses include competition entry fees, costumes, and team apparel. During your complimentary assessment, we'll provide a detailed breakdown of all costs so you know exactly what to expect before making any commitment.

Is there a recital if my child is on the competitive team?

Yes! Competitive dancers participate in our annual year-end recital, where they perform their competitive routines and celebrate another successful season alongside our recreational dancers.

How are team placements determined?

Placements are based on a combination of age, technical ability, performance quality, work ethic, attitude, and overall readiness. Our goal is always to place dancers where they will be challenged, supported, and set up for long-term success.

How do I get started?

The first step is to book a complimentary competitive assessment or attend an audition date. We'll meet your dancer, learn about their goals and experience, answer all of your questions, and recommend the program that's the best fit—there's absolutely no obligation to join afterward.
